This work reflects interpretation and experience of my body. I present images of the human form which cross boundaries between portraiture and self portraiture, figuration and abstraction. Presenting the body as object, the everyday, the corporeal, a subject to which all viewers can respond. The earlier drawings and photographs have a more narrative strength which deals with the viewer as voyeur. There are also a few miscellaneous drawings and photographs. Biography: I completed my Art degree in 2008 and my MA in Fine Art a year later in 2009. I am doing my PGCE in Art and Design and will finish Summer 2012. I have worked in Art and Education throughout my studies. I hope to continue creating art work as I settle into my teaching career.
